Surgical Weight Management support groups are a great way to stay motivated, share challenges and successes with fellow patients, and optimize weight loss and healthy living.  Both current and prospective patients are invited to attend.  Our support group meetings are facilitated by health care professionals, including our bariatric nurses, registered dietitians, licensed mental health providers, or physicians.

Support Groups are held at Physicians Medical Center located at 218 Corporate Drive in Houma, Louisiana 70360.

All meetings will be held at Physicians Medical Center on Tuesday starting at 6:00pm and ending at 7:30pm.

While only a qualified surgeon can determine if you are a candidate for weight-loss surgery, you may be a candidate for bariatric surgery if you have a BMI of 40, or a BMI 30-35 or higher with one or more obesity-related conditions.
